Janelle Monae is one of the most dynamic artists we have seen this generation. Coming from humble beginnings persevering through struggle to achieve goals, and being kind to others, are some of the first virtues that come to mind when I put into terms what this woman stands for; not to mention her activism in the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
I still have yet to see the movie “Hidden Figures”. I will in good time!
Please listen and use this as inspiration as I do, for I can relate to having to work to survive and simultaneously achieve goals. No one is a stranger to this, however, Janelle reminds us that hard work always pays off no matter what!
